something accomplished

so yes i have failed the 10 days of sketches but not due to slacking. for once. i have been working on a mural and just finished today. i was lucky to work at my leisure, the mural being at my aunts house. this was a mural i had promised to do for many, many years. finally i have been able to give her what she wants, and even slip in a portrait of the cutie dog carlie. this will be the third aunt of mine that now has one of my paintings in their home. i am lucky to have fam that supports me, trusts my creativity....and allows me to use their walls as free advertisement.yay.
i am notorious for forgetting to document the process from start to finish. its great to have to before and afters..but of course i dont. i did get a few shots showing the process from day 2 to today.

7. sketch sketch deja vu

these sketches are starting to make me think. i always knew what i preferred to draw but never knew i was so preoccupied with the same images- women, birds and feet. hmm what does that say about me.

could not really get the sketch groove goin..too busy watchn edward scissorhands. and tim burton is usually so inspiring....fed up and not finished but ok these hands are done for tonight.
